Goals

Last year, I got engaged, so in an effort to become fit I decided to sign up for my first half marathon.  I had only ran about four miles before, so honestly, I had some doubt in my mind as to whether or not I would be able to accomplish my new goal.  This half marathon is only three days away from now.  I've lost 13 pounds, and I've never felt better!

Regardless of how much weight I've lost or what the scale says, I feel great to have reached a goal that I never thought was possible.  Now I know that if you take baby steps, you can achieve anything! Since I've reached my first goal, I'm ready to make a second.  My goal is to blog about my lifestyle which will include running, weight lifting, and healthy eating.  I can't wait to get started!
